How much bull shit is the bible full of. I have been reading it again and find it makes no real sense and full of inconsistencies. Its in my thoughts that if you are going to believe in something you had better believe in it the whole way.
Thats why these religious freaks out there confuse me so much. Lets give you an example.
they believe that 2 men or 2 women should not get married because its against the bible.
I have some news for you freaks out there.
1) THE CONSITUION OF THE UNITED STATES. It gives freedom of religion and protection from prosecution of ones beliefs. And to say some one can not be married legally because its immoral based on ones beliefs in a religion is prosecution of someones rights to freedom of religion.
2) If you want to say the country was founded by Christian believers and there fore must follow Christian laws. I say which Christian laws are you talking about. If you want to say the bible says its in morale to comment homosexuality then get you kid betters out because you are so pose to kill your children for disobeying you. ( its true. Read it your self.) as for our fathers there is evidence that several of them were atheist.
On a more personal note before you start saying thats what a fag would say. Just to let you know I am a happy strait male (I'm a guy who likes girls). I am married and have four children. I believe in freedom of religion and think that no one should interfere with what you choose for religion.

Musthavebrains incorrect thoughts

I was reading the news. They were talking about U.K. almost apology for the slave trade. Which is fine. Slavery was a horrible act that stains the books of history. What annoyed me about the article was they had an African descendant say that the apology was not enough. That the U.K. Should also make reprimands and send money to those who still suffer for the past history.
Lets get into this a little bit here. Yes I am a white American. I can trace my family roots back to 1695 (one of my side hobbies) but in all that history I can not find one bit of proof that my family held slaves. (I did find one case where one of my family members were imprisoned by the north for helping free slaves just before the start of the civil war.) so if some one was to come to me and say I need to pay for the repression of their race I would have to laugh at them.
As to this women who said that the U.K. Should pay I say why not make the African nations pay as well. Why would i say that? A little known fact of the whole slave trade thing was that the vast majority of slaves from Africa were sold into slavery by their own people. Tribes would take prisoners and sell them to slavers for an assortment of payments. The biggest guilty nation of this is Nigeria. Which is how the slur nigger came about. Since most slaves came from the Nigerian coast most slave owners called them niggers. It wasn't until much after slavery that the term became a slur. I do not care to us that term and cringe using it twice but it was a point I felt had to be made.
Anyways back to the main rant. I'm not saying that the people who held slaves were saints. They were not by far. But before you start singling out some one or a group of people for some sin caused in the past you should make sure you get everyone responsible for it. Slavery was not only a white thing Africans had a lot to do with it to. So don't hold the slave holding nations responsible hold the suppliers responsible as well.
Do you hold the drug addict responsible or the drug dealer. I say both.
